Description
Alternator
AMPERAGE: 75
PULLEY DESIGN: V1
PLUG CLOCK: 12
Replace MFR: MITSUBISHI
note: 75A Mitsubishi for Ford. This is the Same as the 13188 Except This Has a Raised V-Groove Pulley, Although the Pulleys Between the 13188 / 13190 Will Easily Transfer. Do Not Attempt to Use the 7732 Motorcraft Unit Here as it is Not as Reliable, and the Pulleys Will Not Properly Interchange, Which Would Make the Fit Harder. The Same Problems Arise With the 13188 and 13190 That Also Plague the Motorcraft Internally Regulated Units ("2G's") - The 3-Prong Output Terminal Plug Deteriorates and Causes Heat Build up and Failures. It is Very Important to Check or Replace This Harness Plug With Every Install. Regulator Failure Can Be Attributed to a Bad Ground Inside the Alternator Where the Regulator Bolts to the Rear Housing (The "Tab" On the Regulator That Completes the Path To Ground May Not Fit "Flush" With the Housing. A Copper Washer Between the Housing and the Regulator May Help).
