This Unit is Different From the 8163-11 in That This Unit Has a Second 10mm Threaded Hole on the Rear Housing, Whereas the 8163-11 Has Just the One Next to the Rear Bearing (As the 8214-11 Also Has). If This Second Threaded Hole is Not Needed, the 8163-11 Will Work Here. There are (3) 140 Amp Units That Look Just Like the 8214-11; 8113-11 (#412 / #434 Regulator), 8127-11 (#430 Regulator) and the 8188-11 (#19009712 Regulator). Also, Years Ago Lester Had Referred to the OEM # 10480138 as an 8214-11, But it is Not, as the Rear Housing on the 10480138 Has a Special "Cut-Out" By the Rear Bearing, Probably for Fit in the Car (That Fits a Corvette). See 8218-2.
