Reports From the Field Indicate That the #729 Regulator Used in the 8276-7 Cannot Be Used in the Previous #705 Applications (8197-7) as the Lamp Circuits Are Different, and the PCM Would Have to Be Reprogrammed in Order for This to Work. There are Replacement Regulators That, if Used, Would Make the 8197-7 and 8276-7 Interchangeable - the Regulators are Both #705 and #729 Compatible.
