note: This is a Direct Drive Starter That Fits Vista / Summit / Expo w/MT. This Unit Looks Just Like the 16940, Except the Mounting Ears are Rotated Slightly - The Holes are More at "2: 00 - 8: 00", Rather than "7: 00 - 1: 00" on the 16940. All Else Seem to Be the Same, Including the Length of the Nose Cone, and the Position of the Drive to the Mounting Surface. The 17214 (w/AT) Has a Shorter Drive End Housing Like the 17217, and Should Not Be Used in Place of the 17212. The 103-203 Uses an "L"-Shaped Solenoid Connection, While the 103-203A Has a Standard Spade Connection. They Will Interchange.
