note: CS144 Unit. Used On Cadillac With Heated Windshield. 3 A/C Studs Off Rear of Alternator. Many Are Replacing With the 7966-2 140A Unit, as Some Parts For These are Hard to Get. Care Must Be Taken When Doing This as the A/C Connectors For the Windshield are Different Between the 7904-2 (Threaded Connectors) and the 7966-2 (Unthreaded Connectors). The Harness May Have to Be Changed to Mount the 7966-2 Properly. Reports From the Field Indicate That the Physical Size of The Unit May Make This Problematic.
